Kava was flowing freely in Atlanta, USA, where an open invitation was extended as a result of a partnership involving Kava Korp. Kava Mama, based in Atlanta, organized an event to offer complimentary kava to those affected by recent hurricanes.
This community-driven event was made possible through a collaboration between Fiji’s Kava Korp and Kava Mama. Kava Korp, a locally-owned and modern manufacturing and export facility located in Colo-i-Suva, made a generous contribution to support the initiative.
John Sanday, director of Kava Korp, highlighted Kava Mama’s significant impact on the kava industry in both Fiji and the Pacific, stating, “Kava Mama has played a pivotal role in advancing the kava bar exports in the United States.” He further expressed that their support was intended to assist in the recovery efforts for those affected by the hurricanes and to demonstrate solidarity during challenging times.
In addition, Sanday noted that Kava Korp was not alone in its efforts to provide assistance. Kava Mama did not respond to inquiries before this report was published.
