Kava flowing freely in Atlanta, USA, was the highlight of a recent event sponsored by a partnership with Kava Korp. Kava Mama, an Atlanta-based business, extended an open invitation to locals, particularly survivors of recent hurricanes, to enjoy complimentary kava.
This community-oriented gathering stemmed from a collaboration between Fiji’s Kava Korp and Kava Mama. Kava Korp, a modern and locally-owned manufacturing and export facility located in Colo-i-Suva, generously supported the initiative through Kava Mama.
John Sanday, director of Kava Korp, praised Kava Mama for its prominent role in establishing kava bar exports in the United States. He emphasized the importance of supporting affected communities, stating, “That is our way of helping them recover from the devastation and our show of gratitude and standing with them, in bad times.”
Mr. Sanday noted that Kava Korp is not the only company offering assistance, highlighting the collective effort to provide support during challenging times. Kava Mama did not reply to requests for comments by the time of publication.
