Kava for a Cause: Atlanta Supports Hurricane Survivors

Kava flowed freely in Atlanta, USA, during an event spearheaded by a collaboration between Fiji’s Kava Korp and Kava Mama, a local kava bar. The Atlanta-based establishment extended an open invitation to those affected by recent hurricanes, offering them complimentary kava.

This community-driven event was designed to uplift the spirits of hurricane survivors and was made possible through the generous contributions of Kava Korp, a cutting-edge manufacturing and export facility located in Colo-i-Suva, Fiji. Kava Korp’s director, John Sanday, expressed that Kava Mama was chosen for this partnership due to its significant impact on kava exports in the United States.

Sanday emphasized the importance of supporting the recovery efforts of those impacted by the hurricanes, stating, “That is our way of helping them recover from the devastation and our show of gratitude and standing with them in bad times.” He also noted that Kava Mama’s contributions have played a vital role in bolstering the kava industry in Fiji and the Pacific region.

While Kava Mama did not respond to inquiries prior to the publication of this report, the initiative highlights a strong commitment to community support and recovery.
