The World Methodist Church Evangelism seminar held in Suva addressed the issue of kava overconsumption, which has become a concern among attendees. The Rev Immanuel Reuben highlighted that the seminar aimed to tackle this critical topic and to discuss the growing number of believers departing from the church. He announced plans for additional evangelism programs set for 2025 to confront these challenges.
Approximately 200 participants from Fiji and other Pacific regions attended the day sessions of the seminar, which began on Monday. In the evenings, about 1,000 individuals gathered for the crusades. The event concluded today.
