The topic of kava overconsumption was a significant focus during the World Methodist Church Evangelism seminar held in Suva over the past week. Rev Immanuel Reuben highlighted the seminar’s emphasis on this critical issue and the increasing number of believers departing from the church. He announced that additional evangelism programs are planned for 2025 to tackle these challenges.
The seminar attracted around 200 participants from Fiji and various parts of the Pacific region during the day sessions, while approximately 1,000 people attended the evening crusades. The event is scheduled to conclude today.
