The issue of kava overconsumption was a key topic during the week-long Evangelism seminar held by the World Methodist Church in Suva. Rev. Immanuel Reuben highlighted the seminar’s focus on this pressing matter and noted the concerning number of believers departing from the church. He confirmed that additional evangelism programs are planned for 2025 to tackle these challenges.
The seminar attracted around 200 participants from across Fiji and the wider Pacific region during the day sessions, with approximately 1000 attendees participating in the night crusades. The event is scheduled to conclude today.
