Kava Mama, an Atlanta-based establishment, organized the gathering to support survivors of recent hurricanes, offering free kava to attendees. This initiative stemmed from the partnership between Fiji’s Kava Korp and Kava Mama.
Kava Korp, a premier manufacturer and exporter located in Colo-i-Suva, contributed generously to the event through Kava Mama. According to Kava Korp director John Sanday, Kava Mama was chosen for this collaboration due to its significant impact on the kava bar industry in the United States.
Sanday expressed that their support is a way of aiding the recovery efforts and demonstrating solidarity with those affected. He noted that Kava Korp is not the only company involved in such charitable initiatives. Kava Mama did not provide a response to inquiries prior to the publication of this article.
