Kava was freely available at an event in Atlanta, USA, organized through a collaboration with Kava Korp. Kava Mama, based in Atlanta, extended an open invitation to survivors of recent hurricanes, offering them free kava.
The community-focused event was made possible by the partnership between Fiji’s Kava Korp and Kava Mama, highlighting a shared commitment to support those affected by the natural disasters.
Kava Korp, a state-of-the-art manufacturing and export facility located in Colo-i-Suva, made a sizable donation to Kava Mama to aid the event. Kava Korp’s director, John Sanday, noted that Kava Mama was chosen due to its pivotal role in the kava bar export industry in the United States.
Sanday emphasized the importance of Kava Mama in fostering the growth of the kava industry in Fiji and the Pacific region. He stated, “This is our way of helping them recover from the devastation and showing our gratitude and support during difficult times.” He also highlighted that Kava Korp is not the only company that has extended assistance in this manner. Kava Mama did not respond to inquiries by the time this article was published.
