Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica has expressed his unwavering support for Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka and the People’s Alliance Party, urging anyone contemplating the formation of a new party to resign immediately.
“Leave now and don’t let that door hit you on the way out,” Kamikamica stated.
He emphasized that those considering a departure lack respect for the sacrifices made to achieve stability in the nation’s democracy. Kamikamica pointed out that they have disregarded the hopes of the tens of thousands of Fijians who voted in favor of the Prime Minister and the People’s Alliance vision.
He asserted that there is no place for instability or personal agendas that undermine national unity.
“The efforts of those trying to destabilize our Government and party will be met with strong resistance,” he added.
Addressing “keyboard warriors and rumor-mongers,” he wished them luck as they part ways.
Kamikamica reiterated their commitment to maintaining Fiji as a stable and prosperous nation for future generations.
“The work we are doing now is establishing the foundation for economic growth, social unity, and a stronger future. We will not permit anyone to disrupt that vision,” he declared.
“We will move forward together and build the Fiji we all deserve.”
