Sivoni Ligaiviu, an educator from Kadavu Provincial Secondary School, has expressed his appreciation for the innovative blended classes offered by Fiji National University (FNU), which enabled him to earn a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) in Industrial Arts.
Despite the geographical challenges of living in Kadavu, Ligaiviu successfully completed his studies using FNU’s online class options. Originating from Solotavui Village in Kadavu and with maternal connections to Waitovu Village in Ovalau, Ligaiviu is passionate about furthering his education and enhancing his professional qualifications.
“I’ve consistently aimed to improve my qualifications. As a teacher in Kadavu, graduating today was made possible through the online classes provided by FNU,” he stated.
Ligaiviu has already begun pursuing Postgraduate units and aims to achieve a PhD in the future. He remarked, “It’s crucial for me to keep upgrading my qualifications. I anticipate completing my Postgraduate qualification by December of next year.”
