K9 Unit Saves the Day: Quick Arrest in Lautoka Theft Case!

Fiji Police Force has reported that a swift response from a Police Dog Unit on patrol in Lautoka led to the arrest of a man believed to be connected to a theft incident that occurred yesterday.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, stated that K9 officers on patrol along Drasa Avenue encountered a situation where a woman had fallen victim to theft, with her mobile phone being stolen.

The officers acted promptly, tracking the suspect down and successfully recovering the stolen mobile phone belonging to the victim. The 25-year-old suspect, known to police, is currently in custody at Lautoka Police Station as the investigation proceeds.
