Double Olympic gold and silver medalist Jerry Tuwai is set to make his much-anticipated return to the field at the upcoming McDonald Coral Coast Sevens. Tuwai has been selected to join the esteemed Sevens Select team, which is led by the renowned coach Mike Friday.
Joining Tuwai in this special lineup are former South African star Rosko Speckman and Ireland’s Harry McNulty, both of whom are expected to bring their unique skills to the tournament.
Additionally, the tournament is attracting a growing number of international teams, further elevating its prestige. New entrants include the Bula Bay 7s from Tauranga, New Zealand, and the Seattle Barbarians from the United States.
The McDonald Coral Coast Sevens will take place at Lawaqa Park from January 16 to 18, promising an exciting showcase of talent and competition.
