Island Adventures Set Sail with New Boat Launch in Fiji!

MICKS Fiji Tours & Transfers has unveiled a new initiative to enhance island travel experiences with the launch of their latest vessel, the “Keje Na Mahi Flyer.” This modern boat will provide daily transfers and private charters to the picturesque Mamanuca and Yasawa islands, accommodating up to 16 passengers.

The handover ceremony took place at the Kaika Marine Fiji PTE Limited Ship Building Facility in Momi, where Minister for Trade, Manoa Kamikamica, highlighted the importance of this acquisition for the tourism sector, which is a cornerstone of Fiji’s economy, contributing around 40 percent of the national GDP. He expressed optimism that the new service would significantly improve the experience for visitors to Fiji.

Minister Kamikamica emphasized the importance of industries linked to tourism and noted that initiatives like the Integrated Human Resource Development Program aim to support businesses like MICKS Tours while creating job opportunities and enhancing livelihoods within communities. He also acknowledged the support from Merchant Finance, which contributed financially to this program.
