A police officer was found deceased in Lami this morning, identified on social media as Peni Racagi. Family members, friends, and colleagues have taken to online platforms to express their condolences and share tributes to the young officer.
His body was discovered floating at sea early in the day, prompting an immediate investigation by the Fiji Police Force. Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu confirmed that Racagi was just 24 years old and had been on duty at the Lami Police Station the previous night.
