InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa will launch a sleep-focused holiday experience, the Sweet Dreams Package, on 13 March 2026 to coincide with World Sleep Day, the resort announced on Tuesday. The limited‑time offering aims to help travellers—particularly couples—sleep better away from home by combining a pre‑arrival sleep consultation with on‑stay wellness support and a curated sleep kit.

Research commissioned for the initiative found snoring and poor sleep are widespread pain points for holidaymakers. Among Australian respondents, 85 percent said either they or their partner snore while on holiday and 58 percent reported snoring had negatively affected their trip. Almost one‑third (31 percent) said a partner’s snoring regularly wakes them while travelling, contributing to tiredness, irritability and diminished enjoyment. The survey also ranked poor sleep as the second most significant source of stress for travellers, while 35 percent of Australians said they avoid discussing snoring and 97 percent said good sleep is important on holiday.

To address those issues, the resort is offering guests a pre‑arrival consultation with sleep specialist Shea Morrison, who will provide personalised advice ahead of a stay. Morrison said travel disrupts normal sleep patterns through changes in routine, unfamiliar surroundings and the challenge of sharing a room, and that the Sweet Dreams Package is designed to give visitors practical tools to restore rest so they can better enjoy their holiday.

Guests booking the package must stay a minimum of three nights. On arrival they receive a Sweet Dreams Kit developed in partnership with The Goodnight Co, which contains eye masks, zzZone nasal strips, zzZone mouth tape, magnesium oil and a Deep Sleep essential oil blend. During their stay, guests also have access to the resort’s wellness facilities, including an infrared sauna and cold plunge, along with standard inclusions such as accommodation for two, daily breakfast and complimentary Wi‑Fi.

General Manager Lachlan Walker said the initiative recognises sleep as a major part of the holiday experience and seeks to remove the awkwardness couples and families sometimes face around snoring. “Shared sleep can be a quiet but significant challenge for travellers,” Walker said, adding that the package is intended both to normalise conversation about sleep and to equip guests with non‑invasive, practical options to improve rest while away.

The Sweet Dreams Package will be available for a limited time after its launch and can be booked through the resort’s reservations team. The resort described the offering as complimentary in its initial rollout—referring to the included consultation and kit—within the broader paid accommodation package.
