Fiji-born winger Marika Koroibete has been sidelined for the Wallabies’ upcoming Bledisloe Cup match due to a wrist injury he developed during last week’s narrow 31-28 defeat to the All Blacks in Sydney. The injury has worsened while traveling to New Zealand, resulting in increased swelling.

As a result of Koroibete’s absence, winger Dylan Pietsch will make his first start for the Wallabies. Furthermore, Jake Gordon returns to the starting lineup at scrumhalf, taking over from Nic White, who played in the Sydney match.

These changes come as Australia aims to end a 23-year streak without a victory against the All Blacks on New Zealand soil.

The Wallabies team for Bledisloe II includes: Angus Bell, Matt Faessler, Taniela Tupou, Nick Frost, Jeremy Williams, Rob Valetini, Fraser McReight, Harry Wilson (captain), Jake Gordon, Noah Lolesio, Dylan Pietsch, Hunter Paisami, Len Ikitau, Andrew Kellaway, and Tom Wright. The reserves are Brandon Paenga-Amosa, Isaac Kailea, Allan Alaalatoa, Lukhan Salakaia-Loto, Langi Gleeson, Tate McDermott, Ben Donaldson, and Josh Flook.
