Fiji-born winger Marika Koroibete will miss the Wallabies’ forthcoming Bledisloe Cup match due to a wrist injury that he aggravated during last week’s 31-28 defeat against the All Blacks in Sydney. The condition worsened while traveling to New Zealand, resulting in increased swelling.
Koroibete’s injury has paved the way for winger Dylan Pietsch, who is set to make his first start for the Wallabies. Additionally, Jake Gordon is back in the starting lineup at scrumhalf, taking over from Nic White, who began the match in Sydney.
These adjustments come as Australia aims to end a 23-year drought by achieving a rare victory against the All Blacks on New Zealand soil.
The Wallabies’ lineup for Bledisloe II includes: Angus Bell, Matt Faessler, Taniela Tupou, Nick Frost, Jeremy Williams, Rob Valetini, Fraser McReight, Harry Wilson (c), Jake Gordon, Noah Lolesio, Dylan Pietsch, Hunter Paisami, Len Ikitau, Andrew Kellaway, and Tom Wright. The reserves are Brandon Paenga-Amosa, Isaac Kailea, Allan Alaalatoa, Lukhan Salakaia-Loto, Langi Gleeson, Tate McDermott, Ben Donaldson, and Josh Flook.
