The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua has welcomed Flying Fijians and former Racing 92 centre Inia Tabuavou. The Natabua High School alumnus has signed a two-year contract for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, following notable performances in France’s Top 14 competition. His robust displays in both attacking and defensive roles earned him a call-up to the Flying Fijians earlier this year. He started at inside centre against Georgia and the All Blacks.
“It feels good to be home, especially with the Drua family. I’m really looking forward to trying out the new environment, especially the culture of the team and also the type of rugby they play,” Tabuavou commented. He will join the Drua after completing the 2024 Flying Fijians Test commitments.
