Colonel Eko Pur Indriyanto, the new Indonesian defence attaché to Fiji, recently conducted a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Major-General Ro Jone Kalouniwai, on December 11, 2024. This visit took place at the Strategic Headquarters in Berkley Crescent.

Upon his arrival, Colonel Indriyanto was honored with a quarter guard before engaging in an official meeting with the Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces. Following this, he also made a visit to Brigadier General Onisivoro Covunisaqa, the Commander of Land Forces, at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua.

This was Colonel Indriyanto’s inaugural visit since he took on the role of Indonesian Defence Attaché to Fiji, marking an important milestone in strengthening diplomatic and military relations between Indonesia and Fiji.

This visit not only symbolizes the commitment to bilateral relationships but also underscores the cooperation in defense matters that can enhance regional security and stability.
