Colonel Eko Pur Indriyanto, the newly appointed Indonesian defence attaché in Fiji, recently made his inaugural courtesy visit to Major-General Ro Jone Kalouniwai, the Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF). This meeting took place on December 11, 2024, at the Strategic Headquarters located in Berkley Crescent.

Upon his arrival, Colonel Indriyanto was warmly welcomed with a quarter guard. He then engaged in an official meeting with the commander of the RFMF to discuss matters of mutual interest. Following this, the Colonel continued his visit by meeting with Brigadier General Onisivoro Covunisaqa, Commander Land Forces, at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua.

This visit signifies an important step in strengthening defense relations between Indonesia and Fiji, highlighting the ongoing commitment to military cooperation and diplomatic ties.
