The Republic of Fiji Military Forces, in collaboration with the U.S. Army, is hosting the 48th annual Indo-Pacific Army Management Seminar (IPAMS) and the 10th annual Senior Enlisted Forum (SELF) at the Hotel Sofitel Resort on Denarau Island, Nadi.

This three-day event is the largest conference for land forces in the region, involving the Army and Marines. The primary goal of IPAMS is to foster peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific through enhanced understanding, dialogue, and camaraderie among participants. It serves as a platform for senior officers to share perspectives and ideas, while also building and reinforcing relationships.

This year’s conference theme is “Joint & Combined Operations in the Indo-Pacific Region.” The agenda includes plenary sessions alongside smaller breakout discussions. Participants will engage with esteemed guest speakers and delve into important topics such as peacekeeping operations, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, leadership development, and the impacts of climate change.

IPAMS stands as the largest and longest-running conference focused on land forces in the Indo-Pacific region.
