India’s President Droupadi Murmu’s Landmark Visit to Fiji

Indian President Droupadi Murmu is currently on a three-day state visit to Fiji, where she has been engaged in a series of significant activities. On Tuesday afternoon, she participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the National War Memorial Grounds in Veiuto.

Additionally, President Murmu visited the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School to honor the statue of the iconic leader. Later that evening, she attended a state reception hosted by President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere at the State House.

On the previous day, President Murmu visited the Sri Subramaniya Swami Temple in Nadi. Throughout her trip, she also held bilateral discussions with Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Sitiveni Rabuka and the President of Fiji.
