Indian President’s Historic Fiji Visit: Key Moments Unveiled

Indian President Droupadi Murmu is on a three-day state visit to Fiji, where she has engaged in several significant events. On Tuesday afternoon, she participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the National War Memorial Grounds in Veiuto.

Additionally, President Murmu paid tribute to the late Mahatma Gandhi by visiting the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School.

Later that day, she attended a State reception hosted by President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere at the State House.

On the previous day, President Murmu visited the Sri Subramaniya Swami Temple in Nadi. During her trip, she also held bilateral discussions with Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Sitiveni Rabuka and the Fijian President.
