Independent MP Jone Usamate has expressed his willingness to collaborate with the Government on certain matters, provided they align with the values of the now de-registered FijiFirst Party.
In a media statement today, Usamate emphasized that any policies he supports must be in the best interest of the nation and Fijians. Should they fail to meet this criterion, he stated he would withhold his support.
Usamate also confirmed that he will not be joining the current Coalition Government. He reiterated his commitment to remaining an independent Member of Parliament throughout this parliamentary term.
