Increased Traffic Management Expected for Indian President’s State Visit

Residents of the Central and Western Divisions should anticipate traffic disruptions from August 5-7 due to police traffic and escort duties for the State visit of India’s President, Droupadi Murmu.

Assistant Commissioner of Police for Operations, Livai Driu, assures the public that there will be no full road closures.

Motorists are asked to cooperate by making room for the motorcade when they see police escort vehicles.

ACP Driu stresses that efforts will be made to minimize disruptions and asks for patience and cooperation during this period.
