The upcoming McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast 7s tournament, set to occur from January 16 to 18, 2025, at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka, is generating significant anticipation as it could potentially be the final appearance of rugby legends Jerry Tuwai and Rosko Specman on the sevens stage.

Tuwai, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and former World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year, embodies the essence of Fijian rugby, showcasing incredible skill and leadership. Recently, he secured a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, further cementing his legacy in the sport. Specman, known for his remarkable speed and agility, played a vital role in the South African team’s victory during the 2017/2018 World Series. Affectionately referred to as “Specmagic,” he has successfully transitioned to 15s rugby, competing in the Pro 14 with the Cheetahs and winning bronze medals at both the Rio and Paris Olympics.
