Our deepest condolences go out to the people of Vanuatu impacted by the recent earthquake. The devastation is immense, leaving many in anguish and struggling to cope with the aftermath.
It’s important to reflect on the reality faced by those who endure such tragedies. While we may read and write about these events, the true pain and sorrow are felt only by those directly affected. Often, society tends to forget these incidents in a matter of weeks, yet for the victims and their families, the memories linger far longer.
To all those who have been affected, our thoughts and prayers are with you. We hope for swift healing and recovery for those injured and strength for those mourning the loss of their loved ones. We extend our gratitude to the numerous NGOs and volunteers who are stepping in to provide support during this critical time.
We also acknowledge the efforts of the Fiji Government in extending their support and solidarity to Vanuatu during this crisis. It is our hope that recovery comes quickly and that communities can begin to rebuild in the days ahead.
In challenging times, the human spirit shines through, and we eagerly await the restoration and healing that will follow.
