In an exciting conclusion to the FIFA International ‘A’ Friendlies Tri-Nations Series 2024, Hong Kong-China clinched the series title on goal difference after a 1-1 draw with the Fiji Bula Boys at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
The match started with high energy as Fiji’s Dave Radrigai scored a brilliant diving header in the 18th minute, giving his team a 1-0 lead at halftime.
In the second half, Hong Kong-China responded with renewed determination, managing to level the score and change the dynamics of the match.
Both teams fought hard, creating several opportunities, but neither could find the back of the net again.
The draw allowed Hong Kong-China to secure the series lead based on goal difference, ultimately winning the Tri-Nations title.
