In an intense conclusion to the FIFA International ‘A’ Friendlies Tri-Nations Series 2024, Hong Kong-China clinched the series title on goal difference after a 1-1 stalemate with the Fiji Bula Boys at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
The match kicked off with excitement as Fiji’s Dave Radrigai scored a remarkable diving header in the 18th minute, giving his team a 1-0 lead at halftime.
However, the second half saw a resurgence from Hong Kong-China, who managed to equalize, shifting the game’s momentum.
Both teams fought hard, creating opportunities but ultimately unable to find the back of the net again.
The draw allowed Hong Kong-China to finish at the top of the series standings, securing the Tri-Nations title on goal difference.
