In an exciting conclusion to the 2024 FIFA International ‘A’ Friendlies Tri-Nations Series, Hong Kong-China clinched the series title on goal difference after a 1-1 draw against the Fiji Bula Boys at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
The match kicked off with a thrilling moment when Fiji’s Dave Radrigai scored a spectacular diving header in the 18th minute, giving his team a 1-0 lead at halftime.
The second half saw a resurgence from Hong Kong-China, who managed to equalize, changing the course of the match.
Both teams fought hard, creating several opportunities, but neither could find the back of the net again.
As a result of the draw, Hong Kong-China emerged at the top of the series standings, securing the Tri-Nations title by goal difference.
