In an exciting conclusion to the FIFA International ‘A’ Friendlies Tri-Nations Series 2024, Hong Kong-China clinched the series title on goal difference after finishing in a 1-1 draw against Fiji’s national team at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
The match began with a burst of action as Fiji’s Dave Radrigai scored a spectacular diving header in the 18th minute, giving his team a 1-0 lead at the half.
However, Hong Kong-China came back strong in the second half, managing to equalize and shift the momentum in their favor. Both teams fought hard, creating numerous opportunities, but neither side was able to find the back of the net again.
The draw secured Hong Kong-China’s top position in the series standings, allowing them to capture the Tri-Nations title based on goal difference.
