The Hindu festival of Holi, a vibrant time for celebrating friendships and strengthening community ties, is approaching, and Minister for Employment Agni Deo Singh has shared an encouraging message. He highlights that Holi is a significant reminder of the triumph of good over evil and emphasizes the importance of coming together, letting go of past grievances, and nurturing love and affection among individuals.

Minister Singh invites everyone to celebrate this festive occasion meaningfully, wishing all Hindus a joyful Holi. He hopes that this year’s celebrations will foster renewed friendships and deepened relationships. Adding to the festive spirit, the FMF Mirchi FM and Radio Fiji Two Non-Stop Holi Masti event is scheduled for this Saturday from 3 pm to 8 pm at Damodar City Carpark in Suva, offering a space for people to gather and enjoy the festivities.

This year’s Holi festivities resonate with similar sentiments expressed by the Minister for Women, Children, and Social Protection, Sashi Kiran, during her celebrations in Lautoka, where she emphasized the need for forgiveness and community unity. Both leaders reflect a common theme during this season of joy – the promotion of harmony and togetherness, emphasizing the significance of emotional healing and collective enjoyment during Holi.

Such messages reinforce the hope for a united community, encouraging individuals to actively participate not just in joyful celebrations but also in nurturing peace and understanding in their daily lives. As Holi approaches, may the spirit of unity and forgiveness inspire all to create a vibrant and harmonious society.
