The Prime Minister’s International Business Awards 2024 is gearing up to be a landmark occasion, with record attendance anticipated at the ceremony. Taking place this Saturday at the Sheraton Fiji Golf and Beach Resort, the event is poised to be a captivating evening filled with celebration and recognition.
Organized by Investment Fiji, the PMIBA is the foremost business awards event in the country, showcasing excellence, innovation, and sustainability across various industries. Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka emphasized that the awards celebrate businesses that have taken on challenges while leading efforts toward a more sustainable future.
This year’s theme, “Innovation & Sustainability,” will spotlight and honor enterprises of all sizes and sectors that have achieved noteworthy success while focusing on reshaping their strategies for long-term viability. Impressively, 249 applications have been submitted for consideration in this year’s awards.
The 2024 ceremony will introduce four new categories: Employer of the Year Award, Excellence in Fisheries Award, Excellence in Forestry Award, and the Excellence in Yasana (Provincial) Aspiration Award, bringing the total to 15 categories.
