The upcoming Prime Minister’s International Business Awards 2024 is set to make history with an unprecedented number of guests expected to attend. Scheduled for this Saturday at the Sheraton Fiji Golf and Beach Resort, the event promises a night filled with celebration, recognition, and inspiration.
Organized by Investment Fiji, the PMIBA stands as the foremost business awards ceremony in the country, celebrating achievements in excellence, innovation, and sustainability across diverse industries. This year’s theme, “Innovation & Sustainability,” aims to acknowledge businesses of all sizes and sectors that demonstrate proven success while prioritizing sustainability in their strategic approaches. Notably, a total of 249 applications have been submitted for consideration in the awards.
This year’s ceremony will feature four new categories: the Employer of the Year Award, the Excellence in Fisheries Award, the Excellence in Forestry Award, and the Excellence in Yasana (Provincial) Aspiration Award, bringing the total to 15 categories overall.
