The launch of the $75 million Hilton Garden Inn project is poised to reshape the tourism landscape of the city, according to Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka. He emphasized that this investment marks a significant advancement for the capital of Fiji.
“This project highlights Fiji’s growing status as a premier investment destination, and it is certain to boost our economy, generate employment, and position Suva as an attractive venue for both tourists and business travelers,” Rabuka stated.
He also urged others to draw inspiration from such investments, which he described as crucial for the country’s future development.
The 178-room hotel is expected to be completed by August 2025 and will offer high-quality amenities, including a gym, swimming pool, restaurant, and bar. This marks only the first phase of development, with plans for a waterfront retail area to follow, enhancing Suva’s overall appeal.
