Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka announced the launch of a $75 million Hilton Garden Inn project, which is set to transform the tourism landscape of the city. He emphasized that this investment marks a significant advancement for the nation’s capital.

“This project reflects Fiji’s growing status as a prime investment destination, promising to stimulate our economy, generate jobs, and position Suva as a key location for both tourists and business travelers,” Rabuka stated. He urged others to draw inspiration from such investments, highlighting their crucial role in the country’s future development.

The 178-room hotel is scheduled for completion in August 2025 and will offer high-end amenities, including a gym, swimming pool, restaurant, and bar. This project marks the first phase, with plans for a waterfront retail development to follow, further enhancing Suva’s attractiveness.
