The launch of the $75 million Hilton Garden Inn project is set to revolutionize the tourism sector in the city, according to Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka. He stated that this investment marks a crucial advancement for the capital of Fiji.

“This project reflects Fiji’s rising status as a prime destination for investment, and it will significantly aid our economy, generate employment, and position Suva as an attractive location for tourists and business visitors,” he noted.

Rabuka urged others to take inspiration from such initiatives, emphasizing their importance for the nation’s ongoing development.

Scheduled for completion in August 2025, the hotel will feature 178 rooms and a range of high-quality amenities, such as a gym, swimming pool, restaurant, and bar. This will be just the initial phase, with plans for a waterfront retail development to follow, aimed at further enhancing Suva’s attractiveness.
