The $75 million Hilton Garden Inn project has officially begun, marking a transformative moment for the tourism sector in the city, according to Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka. He pointed out that this investment is a significant advancement for the nation’s capital.
“This project showcases Fiji’s increasing standing as a top investment location and will inevitably bolster our economy, generate employment, and position Suva as a prime destination for tourists and business travelers alike,” Rabuka stated. He urged others to take inspiration from such investments, emphasizing their importance for the future growth of the nation.
Slated for completion in August 2025, the hotel will feature 178 rooms and offer premium amenities including a gym, swimming pool, restaurant, and bar. This marks only the initial phase of development, with plans for additional waterfront retail spaces to further enhance Suva’s attractiveness.
