The $75 million Hilton Garden Inn project is set to significantly change the tourism landscape of the city, according to Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka. He emphasized that this investment marks an important advancement for the nation’s capital.

“This project highlights Fiji’s emerging status as a leading investment destination, and it will certainly invigorate our economy, generate jobs, and position Suva as a premier location for both tourists and business visitors,” he stated.

Rabuka encouraged others to draw inspiration from such investments, which are essential for the future growth of the nation. The hotel, scheduled for completion in August 2025, will offer 178 rooms along with high-quality amenities, including a gym, swimming pool, restaurant, and bar.

This marks the initial phase of the development, with plans for a waterfront retail project that will further enhance the appeal of Suva.
