The $75 million Hilton Garden Inn project is set to reshape the tourism landscape of the city, according to Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka. He emphasized that this investment marks a significant advancement for the nation’s capital.
“This project illustrates Fiji’s increasing stature as a premier investment location, and it will certainly enhance our economy, generate employment, and position Suva as a prime destination for both tourists and business travelers,” Rabuka stated. He urged others to draw inspiration from such investments, stressing their importance for the country’s future growth.
Scheduled for completion in August 2025, the hotel will feature 178 rooms along with high-quality amenities such as a gym, swimming pool, restaurant, and bar. This marks only the first phase of development, with plans for a waterfront retail area to follow, further boosting Suva’s attractiveness.
