The $75 million Hilton Garden Inn project has officially begun, poised to reshape the tourism landscape of the city, according to Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka. He highlighted that this investment is a significant milestone for the capital of Fiji.

“This project showcases Fiji’s emerging status as a leading investment destination. It is sure to invigorate our economy, generate job opportunities, and position Suva as a premier location for tourists as well as business travelers,” he stated.

Rabuka encouraged others to take inspiration from such investments, emphasizing their importance for the future growth of the nation.

The hotel, which is scheduled to be completed in August 2025, will offer 178 rooms and include high-quality amenities such as a gym, swimming pool, restaurant, and bar.

This initiative marks only the first phase, with plans for a waterfront retail development to follow, aimed at further enhancing Suva’s attractiveness.
