Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa has kicked off its festive season celebrations with a series of events and community initiatives designed to foster holiday cheer, connection, and generosity. The month-long festivities began on November 30 with the resort’s annual Festive Tree Lighting Ceremony, where guests and team members gathered for an evening filled with Christmas carols performed by the celebrated Hilton Fiji Team Choir, along with festive treats like eggnog and cookies.
A highlight of the event was a special visit from Santa Claus, bringing joy to families and children before the resort’s Christmas tree was illuminated, officially marking the start of the holiday season.
In addition to the celebrations at the resort, Hilton Fiji has ramped up its community outreach efforts. A Christmas Stationery Drive has been launched, encouraging team members to contribute school bags, stationery, art supplies, games, and other essentials to assist children and families as they gear up for the upcoming school year.
Continuing its commitment to community care, the resort hosted a festive luncheon for children, caregivers, and teachers from Nadi Special School, as well as residents of Golden Age Home and Loloma Home. Guests enjoyed a buffet lunch crafted by Hilton Fiji’s culinary team, graciously served by volunteer team members who devoted their time to ensure the event was a success. The afternoon included games and activities organized by the resort’s Activities team, making for a joyous and memorable experience for everyone involved.
Carey Osborne, the Cluster General Manager for the Fiji Islands, emphasized that these festive initiatives epitomize Hilton’s core values. He noted that Christmas is a time for compassion, generosity, and togetherness, commending team members for their unwavering dedication to uplifting the community through both guest experiences and meaningful outreach programs.
