Several prominent individuals are competing for roles on the new management board of the Fiji Rugby Union. These candidates have been nominated by the Provincial Unions and subsequently vetted by the nominations committee, which has led to a shortlist of potential board members. Among the shortlisted candidates are notable figures such as Mark Evans, the CEO of Fijian Drua; Ilivasi Tabua, a former coach of the Flying Fijians; Koli Sewabu, a past World Rugby trainer; finance expert John Sanday; banker Tony Ram; media specialist Stanley Simpson; accomplished lawyer Isireli Fa; and Lajipa Naulivou, the first-ever captain of Fijiana.
