Five Year 11 students from Natabua High School have been honored by the Fijian Drua and Tourism Fiji for their commendable act of kindness. The students gained attention last week after they helped six-year-old Vasemaca Drotini get home safely when she lost her bus card.
The story of their benevolence quickly circulated on social media, prompting a special visit from Shane Hussein, General Manager of Commercial and Marketing for the Fijian Drua, and Melissa Natawake, Business Events and MICE Manager at Tourism Fiji.
During a school assembly, the students were lauded for their exemplary behavior. As a reward, each student received two platinum tickets to a 2025 Fijian Drua match in Lautoka, an exclusive tour of the change rooms, and an opportunity to meet the players after the match.
Additionally, Tourism Fiji presented each of the students with goody bags filled with Drua merchandise.
