Former Fiji Link Chief Executive Shaenaz Voss and former Senior Security Officer Sharun Ali are being interrogated by the Fiji Police Force. According to Assistant Commissioner of Police – Crime ACP Mesake Waqa, they are under investigation for allegedly unlawfully carrying firearms and ammunition on domestic flights. Both individuals were spotted leaving the Nadi Police Station yesterday. Last week, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions dropped charges against Voss due to non-compliance with the operator’s airline security program. Voss had previously faced charges related to the unlawful carriage of firearms on a flight from Nausori to Labasa Airport in 2018.
