Former Fiji Link Chief Executive Shaenaz Voss and former Senior Security Officer Sharun Ali are currently under investigation by the Fiji Police Force. Assistant Commissioner of Police – Crime, ACP Mesake Waqa, announced that they are being questioned regarding allegations of unlawfully carrying firearms and ammunition on domestic flights. Both Voss and Ali were seen leaving the Nadi Police Station yesterday.
Last week, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions dropped charges against Voss for not meeting the requirements of the airline’s security program. Voss had previously been charged with the unlawful carriage of firearms during a flight from Nausori to Labasa Airport in 2018.
