Two individuals have been arrested in connection with a break-in at the High Court building in Lautoka that occurred over the weekend. Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that the two men were taken into custody on Sunday, although it remains unclear whether any items were stolen during the incident.

Police liaison officer for the West, Manasa Tabuakula, stated that investigators were able to identify the suspects using security footage retrieved from the courthouse. CCTV footage showed one of the suspects breaking into the building, prompting an investigation that is still ongoing.

The incident came to light when a senior court officer reported the break-in early on Monday morning, resulting in the suspension of all court cases before the High Court in Lautoka. However, court sessions are expected to resume shortly.
