Hibiscus Queens Honor Seniors on Special Day

Leilbling Marlow, the first Hibiscus Queen of Fiji, was warmly visited at Suva’s Pierce Home by Melania Tora, the reigning queen, along with her Hibiscus Festival companions, Pepe Melani and Martina Sigrah. This occasion not only celebrated the elderly but also highlighted the significance of their contributions to society. The theme for this year’s International Day of Older Persons is “Human rights across generations.”
