Hibiscus Queen 2024: A Crown and a Calling

Melania Tora, representing Tents and Awnings, was crowned Miss Hibiscus Queen 2024 last night in Suva. In an emotional interview, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to God for her victory. “I wouldn’t be here without the grace of God,” she stated. Tora plans to continue her community service as a youth leader at her church, now with an opportunity to make a greater impact.

“I am committed to serving my country even more,” she added. Reflecting on her journey as Hibiscus Queen, Tora emphasized the significant personal growth she experienced. “The girls around me have taught me so much, and I have developed a deep love for my people,” she shared. She regards herself as a testament to the path laid out by Jesus Christ, encouraging others to pursue their dreams while remaining true to their faith.
