Authorities have not received any reports of sexual harassment that allegedly occurred during the crowning night of the recent Hibiscus Festival in Suva.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro stated that there have been no complaints filed by the event organizers or the Suva Town Council regarding the incident.
It is claimed that a contestant experienced sexual harassment from an intoxicated man on the night of the event. Inquiries have been made to Tevita Boseiwaqa, the Chair of Administrators for the Suva Town Council, and Local Government Minister Maciu Nalumisa for further comments.
